What's the difference between your free CV sending service and your premium CV forwarding service?

With the CV sending service, we send you a small number of targeted CVs that match the criteria you specify.

Login here and enter your email address. Click "Forgot Password" and your password will be emailed to you.


I have forgotten my username.

Your username is the email address that the CVs are sent to. Login here

If you cannot remember your email address, you can find it on any of the CVs that we send out to you.

Just go to View and Message Header on your email programme.


I am having login challenges

  • I need my username / password

    For the CVtrumpet site, your username is the email address that you registered with. If you have forgotten your password, just use the "forgot password" feature on your login screen. Your details will be emailed to you right away.
  • I am having other problems when I try to login
  • To solve these you need to clear your cache and delete your cookies on your PC. In Internet Explorer, Go to Tools > Internet Options > Delete and then delete your Temporary Internet Files and Cookies.

I am having signup challenges

  • Firstly, you must use your corporate email address; "free" email addresses such as Hotmail and Yahoo are automatically rejected. This is part of our due diligence and helps us to ensure that you are a legitimate recruiter.
  • Secondly, we request that your email domain (e.g. abc@hayes.com) matches your website address (e.g. www.hayes.com).
  • We appreciate that some companies do use different domains for email and the web addresses. If this is the case for you, just put your email address in the Website Address field when you register.
  • I am having other problems when I try to signup
    To solve these you need to clear your cache and delete your cookies on your PC. In Internet Explorer, Go to Tools > Internet Options > Delete and then delete your Temporary Internet Files and Cookies.
  • If you still have challenges after trying the above, please contact us.

The CVs I'm getting need to be changed or be more specific.

We would suggest narrowing the criteria on the on your Candidate Control Panel. Go here and log in using your email address and password. You may wish to consider selecting the most relevant job functions, salary levels and industries so that you receive the most relevant CVs.


I wish to delete my account.

Before doing so, you may wish to change the criteria on your Candidate Control Panel. Login here and log in using your email address and password.

You may wish to consider selecting the most relevant job functions, industries and salary levels so that you only receive the most relevant CVs. Otherwise select "Pause Subscription" to stop CVs.


I wish to change the email address that CVs go to.

Login here using your email address and password. Then select "Pause Subscription". Then you'll need to open a new, free account here.


Can I search CVs on the CVtrumpet site?

Yes, CVtrumpet has thousands of CVs in its Executive and Management candidate CV database. You can access many more matching candidates with the database on a weekly basis in comparison to the free CV sending service.

I cannot open or view CVs sent to me.

If CVs sent to you are not opening, or not opening correctly, do note that you do need Microsoft Word installed on your PC. If you have this, you may need to adjust a setting. Information on how to do this is here.
